Salesforce Data Zones
Salesforce Data Zones are the sections of the Forge left sidebar that give you direct read/write access to your Salesforce CRM records — Accounts, Contacts, and Person Accounts — without leaving Forge. Think of it as a focused CRM view, surfaced alongside your event data.

Accounts
The Accounts zone lists Salesforce Account records accessible to your user profile. Each account card shows name, type, and a count of associated contacts and event attendees. Click an account to open its detail page, which shows linked contacts, registrations, and payment history.
Contacts
The Contacts zone lists Salesforce Contact records. Contacts are the primary CRM identity for event attendees. From the contact detail view in Forge you can see all past and upcoming event registrations for that person, with links to individual attendee records.
PII lives in Salesforce
Names, email addresses, phone numbers, and mailing addresses are stored exclusively in Salesforce Contact and Lead records. Forge displays this data just-in-time and never writes it to its own Postgres database.
Person Accounts
If your org uses Salesforce Person Accounts (a combined Account+Contact model common in B2C orgs), Forge supports them natively. Person Account records appear in both the Accounts and the Contacts zones, and they link to Attendee records the same way standard Contacts do.
Searching and Filtering
- Type in the search bar to find accounts or contacts by name or email.
- Filter contacts by account, event, or registration status.
- Click a contact row to open the contact detail panel — no page navigation required.
- Use the Salesforce link icon (chain link) to jump directly to the record in Salesforce.
Salesforce mapping
These views query Salesforce Account, Contact, and PersonAccount standard objects directly via the Forge API layer. All reads respect your Salesforce profile's field-level security and sharing rules.
