Giving Reporting
Fundraising module required
Giving Reporting is available to organizations with the Forge Fundraising add-on (Donations and/or Auctions). The Fundraising module uses the bt_fundraising__ namespace in Salesforce. Contact your Blackthorn account manager to enable the Fundraising module.
The Giving Report surfaces donation and auction revenue alongside your event registrations, giving you a unified view of the total financial impact of your event — ticket sales plus charitable giving.
Donation Summary

Donation Breakdown
The breakdown panel shows donations segmented by several dimensions:

| By Amount Tier | Distribution of donors across gift size brackets ($1–$50, $51–$250, $251–$1k, $1k+) |

Donor List
The Donor List shows each donor's name, gift amount, designation, frequency, and gift date. The list is paginated and searchable. Donors can be anonymous — for anonymous gifts, the name field displays 'Anonymous' and no Salesforce Contact ID is shown.
Donor PII handling
Donor names and email addresses are stored only in Salesforce on the bt_fundraising__Donation__c and linked Contact/Lead records. Forge fetches them just-in-time for display. Do not export the Donor List and store the file in unsecured locations. For anonymous donations, no personal data is surfaced in Forge — only the gift amount and designation.
Auction Giving
If your event includes an auction (Live, Silent, or Timed), auction proceeds appear as a separate line in the Giving Report under the Auction Giving section.

Combined Event + Giving Totals
The bottom of the Giving Report shows a combined totals section that adds ticket revenue plus donation revenue plus auction revenue to give a single total financial impact figure for the event. This number is useful for board reporting, grant applications, and event success summaries.

Giving data lives in Salesforce
All donation and auction records are the authoritative source of truth in your Salesforce org under the bt_fundraising__ namespace. Forge reads these records in real time. For advanced fundraising reporting, Salesforce reports and dashboards built on bt_fundraising__ objects give you full flexibility beyond what Forge's built-in Giving Report provides.
