Exports

Forge can export your event data to CSV or Excel for use in external reporting tools, data validation, or import into other systems. Exports are generated on-demand and contain data pulled live from Salesforce at the moment of export.

Export Filters

Most export types support one or more of the following filters to narrow the export to a specific subset of data:

  • Registration status (Registered, Waitlisted, Cancelled, or any combination)
  • Ticket type (export only attendees who purchased a specific ticket)
  • Date range (registrations created between two dates)
  • Session (export only attendees enrolled in a specific session)
  • Checked-in status (Yes/No)
  • Custom form answer filter (export only attendees who answered a specific question with a specific value)

Running an Export

  1. Navigate to the event Reporting tab and click Exports, or go to the global Reporting > Exports page for cross-event exports.
  2. Select the export type from the dropdown.
  3. Apply any filters.
  4. Choose the output format: CSV (comma-separated, UTF-8) or Excel (.xlsx).
  5. Click Export. For exports under 5,000 rows, the file downloads immediately. For larger exports, you receive a notification when the file is ready (typically within 60 seconds).
  6. Download the file from the notification or the Recent Exports list.

Exports contain personal data

Attendee exports contain personally identifiable information (names, email addresses, phone numbers) sourced from Salesforce. Handle exported files according to your organization's data handling and privacy policies. Do not store exported CSV files in unsecured locations. Delete files containing PII when they are no longer needed.

Cross-Event Exports

The global Reporting > Exports page lets you run an Attendee List or Transaction export across multiple events simultaneously. Select the events to include using the event picker, apply date range filters, and export. Cross-event exports are limited to 50,000 rows per export; for larger datasets, run separate event-level exports.

Scheduled Exports

Scheduled exports (beta) let you configure an export to run automatically on a recurring schedule and deliver the file to an SFTP server or email address. This is useful for nightly attendee list syncs with badge-printing systems or daily registration reports for event staff.

Export Column Reference

The Attendee List export always includes a standard set of columns. Form answer columns are appended dynamically based on the form elements configured for the event.
